Special caps: prototypes and small-batch production
Why VINYL-FLEX® dip moulding suits prototypes and small batches
Injection moulding needs precise two-part steel moulds that take weeks and cost tens of thousands of Czech crowns. Dip moulding uses simple mandrels made much faster and for much less. It can be economical for batches of a few hundred and allows quick shape changes at modest cost.
From free sample to serial production
Using your drawing, sketch, photo or physical part, we make a test tool and first prototypes. We send these free so you can check fit, grip, wall thickness and appearance on the actual part. If needed, we adjust the tool and send revised samples. After approval, we make the agreed batch in your chosen colour and finish.
Small-batch advantages over injection moulding
The main advantage is low initial tooling cost. Changing an injection mould is complex and costly; adjusting a VINYL-FLEX® dip tool is quick and affordable, even when a part design changes during development. The finished cap also has no split lines or burrs and needs no extra finishing.
