Profile end caps for safety and quality

In engineering, construction and manufacturing, an exposed profile end is an avoidable risk. Sharp edges can injure workers, damage other parts during handling and let in moisture that accelerates corrosion.

VINYL-FLEX® flat caps are made for this purpose. They fit without tools, grip through material flexibility and immediately close the profile. R versions fit the rounded edges increasingly used in modern structural systems.

Protection in transport and storage

Flat profile ends can be damaged in bundles or containers. A cap fitted before dispatch protects against dents, keeps moisture out of hollow sections and makes handling safer.

Light, compact caps add little to transport costs while reducing the risk of claims for damaged profile ends.

R versions for rounded edges

Modern structural profiles often have rounded edges for appearance or safety. R cap sizes 20×10R, 25×5R and 28×4R have slightly rounded corners to match and grip these profiles.

What to know before choosing a round cap

Measure the width and height (thickness) of the profile section. The first number is the width, the second the height. If unsure, send us a sample or photo.
