Plastic coating of wires and wire products – VINYL-FLEX®
Wire baskets, racks, railings and industrial structures need a finish that resists moisture, mechanical stress and everyday wear. We use dip coating to apply a continuous flexible PVC (plastisol) layer that protects the metal against corrosion and damage and allows colour coding. We process wire products of different shapes and cross-sections, from single items to repeat runs. Technical advice and samples are free.
Applications of plastic coating for wire products
Wire products need a reliable finish to extend their life and make them safe to use. Dip coating by VINYL-FLEX® is ideal for protecting wire shapes and structures that would otherwise wear without a coating.
Benefits of PVC coating on wire
The main benefit of coated wire is protection — the PVC layer resists corrosion and mechanical damage to the metal underneath. Another benefit is the soft surface, which helps prevent scratches to goods and injuries from wire ends. Tinting the plastisol also allows colour coding of products.
Available colours
We make coatings in various colours, adding visual appeal and allowing different wire products to be identified by function.
