What is dip coating?

Dip coating creates a durable protective PVC layer. A heated mould or part is dipped into plastisol, cured in an oven and then cooled; where a mould is used, the coating is separated from it. The result is a continuous plastic layer that protects the product and enhances its appearance. We offer this process under the brand VINYL-FLEX®.

Maximum size of coated parts

We can coat components and larger structures. The maximum part dimensions we can process are 600 × 500 × 200 mm.

Frequently asked questions about plastic coating

Dip coating covers metal with a continuous layer of flexible PVC by immersing the part in a plastisol bath. Compared with painting, it creates a thicker, flexible coating that better resists impact, abrasion and moisture.
Dip coating is particularly suitable for non-ferrous metals and aluminium. A part can also receive powder coating beforehand for extra surface protection.
We can process parts up to 600 × 500 × 200 mm.
Yes. Samples and quotations are free. We can also make prototypes to check performance and appearance before serial production.
Yes. Plastisol can be tinted in different shades for appearance or to distinguish products by function.
